MARDI GRAS: Chronicles of the New Orleans Carnival with Errol Laborde Please join Copeland Tower Living and the Al Copeland Foundation on Thursday, May 20 from 2:30-4:30pm for our final event in our Spring Lecture Series. Errol Laborde will be joining us to present and sign his amazing and must-have book, MARDI GRAS: Chronicles of the Carnival. Errol Laborde, editor and publisher of New Orleans Magazine and Louisiana Life Magazine, has won more than twenty-five New Orleans Press Club awards for outstanding journalism and the National City and Regional Magazine Association Award for his New Orleans Magazine column, "Streetcar." A producer and panelist on the award-winning public-television program, Informed Sources. Laborde is the founding president and a board member of the Tennessee Williams/New Orleans Literary Festival. He is the author of I Never Danced with an Eggplant (On a Streetcar Before): Chronicles of Life and Adventures in New Orleans, published by Pelican. Copies of MARDI GRAS will be available for purchase, and Mr. Laborde will be present for signing after the presentation. Seating is limited.
