ELWOOD, NY — A valedictorian and salutatorian have been named by the Elwood Union Free School District Board of Education. Rithika Narayan was named valedictorian, while Daniel Rourke was recognized as the salutatorian, of the class of 2021, according to a news release. Elwood-John H.Glenn High School Principal Carisa Burzynski shared the standout students' scholastic accomplishments at the board meeting on April 15. Superintendent Dr. Kenneth Bossert said the accomplishments of Rithika and Daniel are "outstanding." "We are all excited to continue to follow their future accomplishments during their postsecondary careers," Bossert stated.
