FRAMINGHAM, MA — A shooting outside a home in Holliston on Thursday afternoon led to a foot chase and arrest in Framingham involving multiple local police departments.
Just before 2 p.m. Thursday, Holliston police responded to a 911 call reporting gunfire at a home along Westfield Drive. When police arrived, the victim told officers that he had gotten into a fight with the gunman.
About an hour later, Sherborn police spotted a vehicle that matched the description from the Holliston shooting. The vehicle traveled into Framingham, and officers pursued the driver to Beaver Park Road. After a foot chase, Framingham police arrested Joshua Rosario, 20, of Hayes Street, and charged him with resisting arrest, carrying a gun without a license and possession of ammunition with a license.
Holliston police are pursuing separate charges against Rosario: assault with a dangerous weapon, armed assault with intent to rob, assault and battery, firing a gun within 500 feet of a building, attempting to commit a crime and carrying a gun without a license.
