Join us for a Camp and Water Safety Day Open House! Come out to Camp Christina, walk our grounds and find out what we have planned for our 2021 Summer Camp season. There will be tons of planned activities for the day. Take a guided tour of our property, meet with the camp director, and learn about our exciting summer camp offerings. Our registration staff will be on site to assist those who want to secure a spot for the summer. During the camp open house we will highlight water safety and have tips tips, tricks and demonstrations on how to stay safe around water! Drowning can happen nearly anywhere with standing water. But, as a parent or caregiver, you can’t keep your children sidelined. You need to equip them with the tools they need to be confident in and around water so they don’t lose out on the health benefits of exercise, the opportunities to bond with family and friends and the sense of accomplishment when they learn new skills. The Y encourages parents to take an active role in their child’s safety by ensuring they learn how to swim and by practicing these safety tips when in and around the water.
