Man Killed In Crash Along Route 100: Police

ELLICOTT CITY, MD — Wednesday afternoon, a man driving a Chevy Silverado eastbound on Rt. 100 near Long Gate Parkway left the road and hit a guardrail. The driver wasn't wearing his seatbelt and was ejected from the truck, according to the Howard County Police Department. The man was taken to Saint Agnes Hospital where he was pronounced dead. The road was closed for approximately two hours following the accident. The incident remains under investigation, the police department noted.
