MERCER COUNTY, NJ — Vaccination efforts in New Jersey continue despite the state's decision to pause the administration of the Johnson & Johnson dose. The state also expanded COVID-19 vaccine eligibility, earlier this week. All New Jersey residents aged 16 and above will now be eligible for the vaccine. The Princeton Health Department is hosting a COVID-19 vaccine clinic for 16- and 17-year-olds, beginning April 27. PHD has partnered with Hamilton Township, West Windsor Township, and Olden Pharmacy for this clinic. As of Friday, a total of 254,600 doses of the COVID-19 vaccine have been administered in Mercer County, of which 161,632 are first doses. A total of 106, 886 residents have now been fully vaccinated.
