I'm looking for someone who knows what it's like to need someone and feel like they can't even breathe without them. Someone who knows what it's like to lose yourself in someone else. Who knows what it's like to know it's awful and never going to work but stays anyway because they don't know how else to be. Someone who knows the deep pain that a relationship with someone you feel completes and fixes you covers up. Someone who has realized this pattern and is attempting to break free or already has. Who realizes that what we so desperately crave from someone else will never truly fulfill us and is trying to get better and improve. Someone who's on the path, who's had some sort of awakening or is trying to have one. I just want a fellow codependent who knows the cross I bear.
