Full-time Maintenance/Custodial/Caretaker person wanted for two new, upscale apartment communities in Ramsey and Zimmerman. (time to be spit between the two properties) Must be honest and trustworthy, possess a positive attitude and great communication skills, work well independently and as a part of a team, and desire a long-term commitment. Tasks (not all-inclusive): Perform tenant maintenance service requests in a timely and efficient manner. Perform various maintenance/repair functions in common areas, outdoor areas & tenant garages. Perform various custodial/janitorial functions in common areas, outdoor areas & tenant garages. Keep the inside common areas and outside grounds well maintained. Be available as needed for on-call emergency situations. (This person will likely carry a company phone.) Paint apartments upon tenant move-out. (Interior painting experience is a must!) Assist with secondary lawn care & weeding duties as needed. (We have a lawn company.) Assist with snow removal as needed. (We have a plow company.) Perform various caretaking duties. Management will pay for this person to get their boilers license. Examples of misc. duties (not all-inclusive): oversee trash chute & compactor usage for clogs, trash/recycle compactor dumpster rotation, clean garages upon move-out, clean outdoor grills, maintain regular maintenance of all workout equipment, inspect boiler system(s), hot water heater(s), water softener(s), furnaces & air handlers, and other duties as assigned. Preferences: * Having your own tools is preferred, although not required. * Electrical, plumbing, heating/cooling and appliance repair experience are pluses. DO NOT APPLY IF THE FOLLOWING DOES NOT FIT FOR YOU: Requirements: * Candidate must have a minimum of one year of maintenance/repair experience. * Candidate must have interior painting experience. * Candidate must have a current, valid drivers license (for maintenance supply runs).
