MHG Builder & Consulting is looking for a single-family new home construction superintendent in the Hollister area. Someone who will oversee development and completion of the project. RESPONSIBILITITES: The Superintendent is responsible for the success of the project by providing leadership on the job as well as supervising all aspects of land development and on-site construction related activities of the company’s development projects. Including project scheduling, ensuring trades comply with safety, quality control and building requirements to effectively minimize company risk and provide the best possible product in the market. • Recruiting and supervising on-site personnel and subcontractors • Review construction plans, submittals, drawings, and scopes • Maintain project schedules and goals • SWPPP is maintained on a daily basis • Ensure the Safety is always a priority on the job sites • Coordinate building inspections • Negotiate change orders, working with office to prepare necessary documentation • Ensure Scopes, terms and conditions are consistently being met • Provide excellent customer service at all times QUALIFICATIONS: • Ground up production construction experience is a must • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Ability to manage crossover responsibilities between land development, design, construction and management function. • Works well with subcontractors and consultants • Deadline and detail oriented • Self-starter • Strong leadership qualities • Proficient Windows Operating System and associated software
