Need Advice On Opening A Business

My best friend and I want to open up our very first business, however, we no nothing about doing it and to be perfectly honest, at this point it's information overload when it comes to the internet. Does anyone know anything on opening up a small liquor store? Several of our coworkers are saying there are tons of grants and other things such as a ppp loan but when doing research it doesn't seem as if we can get it. We have a business plan but at this point that's all we have, other than our dream of having this business. Can anyone please provide any good information for us. It would help out so much.
