Borghi is a beautiful black lab mix (looks like a black lab though). Vet records current and on Wellness plan with Banfield Hospital. Neutered at age 9 months (we've had him since they were 8 weeks old). Very healthy, fit, expressive and sweet! Fully house trained. Completed a private dog training and had made huge progress toward his "stranger danger" behavior, leash pulling, and with many obedience training but he is a work in progress. We are happy to demonstrate some of our ongoing training with you. He only barks when he feels frustrated or feels his safety is threatened. He's really a good boy! Oh and he LOVES water!!! Their mom was a red pointer lab. Dad...a neighbor herding dog of some kind. He is super intelligent, instinctual, and loyal to his family. He has never bitten anyone. He is very good with my 13yr old son. He probably won't get along well with cats. We have not exposed him to very small children and infants. Borghi took after his mom, he is excellent at finding things, keen attention to his surroundings, has great hunting dog instincts. He's your perfect outdoors dog, guard dog, or just a happy love-bug :) If you are patient and willing to invest some time with his "stranger danger" behavior, he will without a doubt be your amazing companion dog! We are very sad to rehome him, but our home situation has changed and we can no longer support all of his needs and what they deserve. We have given them an excellent start in life...now they need their forever home. Adoption fee will be nominal (negotiable to serious adopters).
