Description
A&T Subaru of Sellersville recently presented proceeds from the 2020 Subaru Share the Love® Event to their two Hometown Charities. The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society Eastern Pennsylvania Chapter received $11,446.00 and Souderton-based Keystone Opportunity Center received $18,781.00.
This is the eighth year Keystone Opportunity Center has been named by A&T Subaru as a Hometown Charity, with the 2020 proceeds exceeding the amount raised in 2019 by $4,000.00. This year's donation brings the total funds provided to Keystone Opportunity Center since the campaign began to over $90,000.00.
"Our customers continue to amaze us with their compassion and generosity," said Jeff Allen, A&T Subaru president. "You'd think that during a pandemic, these numbers would be down. But our customers always come through for us and for our community. It's an incredible and special relationship. We are humbled and proud to be a part of helping our friends and neighbors."
The 2020 Subaru Share the Love® Event ran from November 19, 2020 to January 4, 2021 and allowed Subaru retailers the opportunity to select charities operating in their community to be included in a list of organizations that customers leasing or purchasing a new Subaru can choose from to receive a $250 donation from Subaru of America, Inc. (SOA). The following four national charities were:
• The American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals® (ASPCA®)
• Make-A-Wish®
• Meals on Wheels America
• National Park Foundation
For the fifth year in a row, there was no cap on the total donation from SOA to its Subaru Share the Love Event charitable partners.
