ELMHURST, IL — Stealing a car in the 100 block of South Kenmore Avenue in Elmhurst appeared to be easy: It was unlocked and the keys were inside, according to a police report. The theft happened overnight Monday. It was taken from a resident's driveway, police said. The car was later found in south suburban Dolton and returned to the owner, according to a police report. The victim's gold bracelet was missing from the glove compartment, police said.
