Puma Logistics is currently recruiting & hiring hardworking, reliable, and safe Step Van and Sprinter Van delivery drivers to provide exceptional delivery service to Amazon customers. This position is active, often strenuous, and will test the limits of your endurance, problem-solving and patience. For this position, commercial driving experience and an active DOT medical card are a huge plus! Previous "last mile/local" delivery experience is a plus too! For those without an active DOT medical card or DOT training – this PAID training will be provided to you over 2-3 days prior to your first driving shift. You will then have a 30 day probation period with smaller routes and additional training and performance measurements. This role can be either part-time or part-time that quickly becomes full-time with great performance. The company provides vehicles! Schedules: Schedule requires working 4-5 days a week with 8-10 hour shifts starting around 9:45 am. Shifts available 7 days per week. Part-time and full-time available. Station in Aurora, Colorado Qualified Candidates Will: Be safe, reliable, and Customer Obsessed! Be age 21 or over Have a current driver’s license and be able to safely operate a van Have a clean driving record and clean criminal background Be able to pass a 5-panel drug screen (this includes marijuana) Be a team player, but also be able to work independently, accurately and efficiently Be able to lift 50 lbs (most packages are less than 5 lbs), with or without accommodation Be able to climb flights of stairs each day. Be able to overcome challenges and solve problems Be able to have fun and thrive in a fast-paced environment Be resilient to day by day challenges and changes Driver Experience: You will: Loadout your van each morning Deliver packages to houses, apartments, and businesses Often walk up flights of stairs to deliver Drive high-roof vans averaging 75-125 miles per day Make an average of 175 stops per day and need to get in and out of the van each time Be provided rest and meal breaks Be navigating via provided GPS Have your driving recorded on camera for safety assessment Encounter many happy Amazon customers who are excited to receive their packages! What You Can Expect: A starting rate of $18.00/hour - and an increased base rate can come within weeks with completion of DOT training and performance.
