Assembly – Tech 1 and Tech 2

These positions are separated depending on previous experience. After you submit a resume, depending on experience you will be eligible to enter as assembly 1 or 2, and it will affect your starting pay rate as well. There is room to grow and move up in the business quickly as an entry-level employee. Assembly 1: Entry level position with little to no experience in manufacturing & assembly work. Must show longevity in previous assignments, and mechanical aptitude. · 1 year of assembly experience preferred · Familiarity with hand tools is preferred but not required. Employee must demonstrate proficiency on the following tools within 90 days; o Hand / air screw driver, nut driver, tape machine, adjustable wrench, cable tie gun, wire cutter/stripper/crimper, hammer, hand and air ratchet, needle nose pliers, torque wrench, torque gun, knife, scissors, tape measure, ring pliers, vice grip, vice, hand press, hose cutter, tap, banding machine, rivet gun, lift table, air chunks, air impact, stapler, foam gun, nail gun, heat gun, electric drill, and scrapper. · Ability to work around heavy machinery and fork lifts. · Operate and drive machinery. · Must have basic math skills · Must have ability to read blue prints & schematics · Must be able to lift up to 50lbs Assembly 2: Resume must show mechanical aptitude and have familiarity with hand tools and hardware. Must demonstrate proficiency in the following areas. Has 12-18 months of assembly experience. · Hand / air screw driver, nut driver, tape machine, adjustable wrench, cable tie gun, wire cutter/stripper/crimper, hammer, hand and air ratchet, needle nose pliers, torque wrench, torque gun, knife, scissors, tape measure, ring pliers, vice grip, vice, hand press, hose cutter, tap, banding machine, rivet gun, lift table, air chunks, air impact, stapler, foam gun, nail gun, heat gun, electric drill, and scrapper. · Ability to work around heavy machinery and fork lifts. · Operate and drive machinery such as a standup forklift · Must demonstrate proficiency in all Assembler 1 job requirements. · Proficient/familiar with lock out tag out procedures, and enter data on non conforming parts · Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs · Must have basic math skills · Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. · Length of Assignment: Contract to Hire · Attire: Warehouse attire – Must have Steel Toed BOOTS. All other PPE will be require · PPE Needed: Must use safety glasses while operating machinery for assembly, must ALWAYS have steel toed boots. Recommended to wear long pants. Areas of the warehouse that require Hard Hats. · You must not operate machinery without proper safety training.
