Press release from the Town of Huntersville: Posted on: April 22, 2021 Posted on: April 22, 2021 NCDOT to Begin Patching and Resurfacing Old Statesville Road from Gilead Rd to Damson Dr Tonight The Town received word earlier today that NCDOT plans to start patching Old Statesville Road (NC-115) between Gilead Rd and Damson Dr (Plum Creek) tonight. Patching will likely take 3 to 4 nights. Following patching, resurfacing will start and will take approximately 5 nights. All work will be completed at night between the evening and morning rush hour. Huntersville Police Department will have officers out assisting with traffic issues during these overnight hours.
