Graduating from college in 2021 has a unique look and feel. Thunderbird's hybrid virtual and in-person convocation celebrations will safely honor our amazing 2021 graduates using a custom Zoom video wall display in an outdoor setting.
The school will host four group events in the outdoor grotto area of Arizona Center, located in downtown Phoenix.All four convocation celebrations will be live Zoomed to students worldwide who can't attend in person. Family and friends will also join virtually and remote attendees will be displayed on two 10-foot video walls. This way, graduates and their supporters around the globe will all be able to attend virtually with video and audio, watching in real-time as the graduates are celebrating together in person.Each celebration will have a maximum of 40 students attend in person (50 people total, which includes, a photographer, the dean and several faculty and staff).Graduates who attend in person will be able to take a photo with classmates and the dean, collect their diploma cover, and receive a gift in a comfortable outdoor lounge space.
