Residential Design & Drafting firm looking for drafters with 1 to 3 years experience. This is strictly commission based. 1099 Independent Contractor. Work from home. Meet deadlines. MUST have AutoCAD - not a Student version. MUST follow "Standard" template drawing. MUST have experience with Sketch-up. MUST live within a 10 mile radius of Pittsburgh. Look folks, if I give you a template that is a floor plan, you will need to follow the way the template is set up. Use the right layers for what you are drawing. Use the text format, the dimension format - draw on the correct layers. Doing elevations is the same way - follow the template. If you send me a resume, don't send me renderings of beautiful houses or buildings - you won't be doing that. Send me pdf's of plans, elevations and "typical" wall sections that you have done. No Revit stuff either. You will need to be able to drive to meet me maybe once or twice a month. You probably should have a printer too. Lastly, you will need to know how to use ZOOM and have a web camera.
