Professional Horse Training and Breeding Farm located between Smithville and Liberty is looking for a full time Horse Groom/Caretaker. We offer a good work environment. Work week is 5 1/2 days. Monday- Friday 7:30am-5pm with an hour for lunch. Saturdays from 7:30-12pm. Duties include but are not limited to: feeding, watering, stall cleaning, grooming and caring for horses and all aspects of daily farm life. It is a job that requires daily manual labor. Must be able to travel to horse shows for 1 week at a time from April- November. ***Employee MUST have horse care experience at a horse boarding or training facility- no exceptions! At this time we will only hire someone with previous experience. Must be willing and able to routinely lift 50 pounds unassisted, be on time, able to work well with others or alone and dependable. *Must be drug free and legal to work in the US. *Must have a valid drivers license and dependable transportation.
