Need help with Linux and LinuxCNC

Description

I have a CNC machine and a computer to control it with. I have been told by a so-called expert that I need a Linux operating system along with a LinuxCNC image. I have the software but have been unable to get it to operate to date. I need a volunteer with knowledge of Linux to help me get this going as I am a real computer dummy. In return I can pass on knowledge I have gained about CNC's, electronic design, or give you a CNC engraving machine for your efforts. Please call Jerry at if interested.
