Loving Dog Needs Re-homing

Meet Bernie! This beautiful, patient, and loving girl needs more attention than I can provide at this time. She's the sweetest, most gentle dog you'll ever meet and she is just looking for her forever home. I rescued her from a kill shelter and I still can't believe she was ever there. She lives with a little kitten and they get along incredibly well. She has had so much patience while this little kitten playfully bites and claws at her tail and face! She hardly ever barks, even when she is faced with the most fearless… Chihuahua! She does great at dog parks but really just wants to be by your side. She would likely do best as the only pet to get your full undivided attention. She'd honestly make a great service dog! She is 4 years old and is naturally a really calm dog, although she still has that puppy-like playfulness. The only time she gets overly excited is when it's time to WALK! She loves walks and needs at least one walk a day to keep her energy tamed. I've done an extensive amount of leash training over 5 months and she has become a pretty good walker that doesn’t pull much. She's had no medical or behavior issues and I can gladly provide records. Her shots are up to date, aside from her latest rabies booster shot, and she's spayed. She knows basic commands such as sit, stay, paw, go on bed, etc. and is completely potty trained.
