Description
Its kitten season now which means all the free roaming/feral cats are having babies in my neighborhood.
I need a foster home for one feral and her babies in particular.
I’ve already contacted some local rescues and they’re all full already.
Shy/Gentle calico mom of ~2 years is taking care of not only her own litter but a different cats litter too. 7 kittens of two different ages, and her younger/smaller litter is looking weak and sick since the bigger kittens are hogging all the milk. Supplemental feeding may be necessary. Babies are 2-3 weeks old.
Age is known since I’ve seen her wandering around as a kitten before, she was semi tamed recently since pregnancy hormones made her much friendlier and I was able to handle her enough.
I have no idea how mom cat would handle a home situation since she has never lived indoors a day in her life. But she does allow me to pet her and briefly pick her up so someone putting in the effort could potentially turn her into an indoor/outdoor cat.
This is not an opportunity for someone to get a “cheap” cat. The medical bills alone will be expensive and there’s a possibility of fleas and lice too. Please only contact me if you have the contacts/resources to provide the necessary care since I am unable to have cats and cannot care for them.
