As a country we have more issues than racism, but racism must be addressed intelligently before we can talk about other issues. There's strong evidence in research USA is a racist country not only now but throughout our short and sometimes shameful history. Additionally, racism definition is not to be determined by the opporessor but by the victims and refined by experts in the field. If you haven't walked a mile in their shoes please refrain from using your emotions to judge. Acceptance of status quo or staying silent is not acceptable either as your acceptance or failure to acknowledge further fuels the opporessor. RACISM COSTS UNITED STATES MORE THAN JUST DOLLARS ! The stress of racism alone manifests in everything from poverty, mental health, dysfunctional families, police shootings and of course crime! Please use global research available on Internet by many countries now acting as a united front to resolve issues like poverty, racism, energy... etc. Plus kindly regard the different faces of racism... Poverty, unequal distribution of wealth, our justice system's injustices towards people of color, our health and educational system... etc. The list is long. Fox news was sued and admitted they were not news... but an "opinion" in court. It's official you are not intelligent enough to form your own opinion through research so you watch Fox to get your rote thinking on. I'm willing to bet if you watch Fox you're white and uneducated... and hell no, your high school diploma in USA is NOT an education. If you have a university degree and watch FOX news let me assure you you're not a learned man or woman. Others like Rush Limbaugh are just idiots yanking your emotional muscles in the wrong direction with falsities and shock. Why do you think a jerk like Howard Stern is a millionaire here in USA. Do you think other countries have and reward like individuals? America was founded by people who wanted to live free from oppression. Modern day racist are the ultimate oppressors. Racists want to keep people of color down. This is anti-American, against the teachings of your religion and mine, against good virtues and against everything that's right with humanities. Racism drags the country down while a few benefit from it. The cost far outweighs for you and me vs. the benefit for the few ! Luckily, the number of racist is shrinking each day. Racists are the outcasts. Racists are the minority in this nation. If you are a racist, you do not belong here in America and you're living in the dark ages ! Immigrants have IMMENSELY contributed to USA. Chinese built our railroads... the gateway to our economy ! Blacks in our plantations made us a superpower early on... Today other ethnicities from the middle east have brought a wealth of money and knowledge to this country... not to mention a genetic pool this government has a keen interest in. Although this new immigration lottery thing is questionable, as it seeks only random genetic pool in search of eradication of disease in the future through genetic modification. Systemic Racism = cowardice at all levels BTW... I'm a white male, retired professional with a doctoral degree, have always been in supervisory position and have always observed systemic racism in all of our institutions / systems... not towards me.. I come from privilege... but towards non-whites in general. If a promotion was to be given and I allowed a vote it often went to a white rather than a better qualified candidate that put his heart and soul into the job. Did you know; Our military is set up to be racist... I've served and I know. It is not only racist... it's sexist and you may have heard they rape and kill women and then sweep it all under their dirty rug. Did you know there's a law that says you as a citizen are not entitled to military news... regardless of its nature. Isn't keeping the masses ignorant of events they have a vested interest in while they pay for it with taxes a form of racism? VA hospitals are racists to veterans that have served this coyntry. These hospitals hire doctors that have been fired from other hospitals for incompetence and pay them less. Research indicates 25% of workers on the average are incompetent. You'd think veterans would get better care than that. Isn't that a form of racism since minorities serve in our military at a much higher proportion than the white counterpart? Our banks will lend whites more money at better rates... they know racism is alive and well in form of support for white businesses. Law enforcement is racist... I think you pretty much have gathered now that bodycams are out and internet actually posts incidents. It used to be local news only... that was the rule... a racist rule. Prison system operates a "slavery" system... look up 13th Amendment that allows slavory if you're incarcerated... it's a multi-billion dollar industry. BTW since you're not considered a human being while incarcerated you'll be fed meat that's labeled "not for human consumption"... even while you await trial. If you think this system of injustice is right you're an animal yourself. Take a few classes in our justice system! Our educational system is not only racist but has a gender bias towards women... that's why many women get higher grades but cannot perform the same as their counterparts. Our courts are super-racist... divorce courts are in particular racist and gender biased towards women... just ask a divorce trial attorney... any of them... any US state! Our movies, our ads... even the English language itself is racist Just think of the word "Black" then add... Black-death, Black-magic, blacksmith, blackmail... etc. I currently do freelance research on social issues and am glad to see the country is changing. I do this research because it's great to educate others I cross paths with daily. ******************************************* Without racism we will unleash so much potential that's within the non-white individuals and communities and without racism we can synergize these talents and energies to truly be a great country, live in harmony, love... focus on more important issues like disease and other types of plights and ignorance... and not just chant MAGA at all-white hate-gatherings. ********************************************** Trump only helped bring out the racist ! Thank you! Point proven !! Fight racism by speaking up and defending your fellow American. I promise you'll help create a better country. Research shows countries that are not racist... and there are many... people live happier, longer, have a lower divorce rate, are not litigious,... list is long but you get the picture. Here the country's nerves are always on the edge as we consume the majority of the World's medication and despite systemic corruption throughout our economy we're still not ranking at number one for happiness and quality of life. Yes I'm aware many high earners live very well here as opposed to other places! But I'm speaking about the majority of the nation that not only carries nearly all of the burden of tax and work but also suffers at multiple angles from racism or worse yet... reverse racism! People still flock to US because we're a shiny house on the hill... but on the inside we have issues that's indicative of a second dark ages we're in ! And yes there ARE countries with worse issues but they don't claim to be the best like we do. We should be ashamed of miserable events in our history and events happening today that's a laughing matter for the rest of the World. We should also stop being the World's police at the cost of the tax payer. This policing equals to theft. Why did Iraqis have no numbers for how much oil was taken from their country in the first year of war we controlled the country? Because we built a pipeline to Kuwait and pumped 24/7 all the oil we could for ourselves from this small but prolific oil-producer. We did that with zero accountability to Iraq. BTW where was the weapons of mass destruction... the basis for this war? The mustard gas we found was leftover from what US secretly sold Iraq during Iran-Iraq war... go figure!
