Phoenix Test Arrays, LLC (PTA) is an established, fast growing company that offers leading-edge technology to the semiconductor final test market. Located in Tempe, Arizona, PTA designs and manufactures high performance contacts, test sockets, and contactors for customers with strict electrical requirements. PTA focuses on responsiveness and customer support while maintaining the level of product quality that has earned the company numerous accounts. We are currently seeking candidates for the following full-time position: Production Technician Perform inspection, fabrication, and assembly work for standard, custom, and new products. Functions include: • Inspect fabricated hardware against specifications • Assemble fabricated hardware to specifications • Fabricate and assemble contacts • Inspect and test fabricated contacts • Logging of all data pertinent to product flow through production • Maintain inventory of standard product and hardware • Assist in creating and writing procedures for manufacturing • Other reasonable tasks as necessary to ensure production flow from engineering release through shipping Education/Experience requirements: • High school degree or equivalent • 1 year minimum in manufacturing or assembly environment, semiconductor final test preferred Technical ability: • Able to understand fabrication and assembly drawings • Able to understand GD&T (geometric dimensioning and tolerancing) is a plus • Able to use calipers, drop gauges, pin gauges, micrometers, microscope, vision system Computer ability: • Microsoft Office Excel, Word, Outlook • File management using Windows Explorer • AutoCAD knowledge is a plus Personal ability: • Effective verbal and written communication skills • Detail oriented • Quick learner • Able to lift over 50 pounds • Willing to do what it takes to get the job done
