I see ads for dogs, puppies and adults, and the ads say, “potty pad trained”. To me, that says a couple things. 1) The animal is still peeing in the house and is NOT trained; 2) the owner is too lazy or physically unable to walk the dog or let it out to pee; 3) The animal knows where to go to go pee, so why train it to pee outside? I have a friend whose dog will go outside and play for hours and come in to pee on the mats. Why wouldn’t you train your animals to not pee in the house? I don’t get it.
