▼▲yosemic presents WHA! -open mic event for all expressionist- ▼▲ yosemic started back in June 2019 in a small corner of Brooklyn but soon after one’s founding we had to face the difficulties of pandemic. Finally We are back! We would like to give a big welcome to those interested in our upcoming event! The event will be held on 4/30. Admission Free There will be free Snack&Drink We will follow the guideline for Social activities by CDC. ◇◆ Address Silk Road Cafe 30 Mott St, New York, NY 10013 ◇◆Time Table 6:00 pm Open 6:30 pm Start Round Table Talk & Open Mic Performances 8:30 pm End 9:00 pm Closed ◇◆ What is an yosemic?◇◆ This open mic event was born out of an idea to create a space where anyone can express themselves freely. There are endless ways to express yourself here including, but not limited to, musical performances, dances, comedy, poetry, theatre, speeches and artwork. Performers and artists of all types are,pre team welcome to participate regardless pf skill level, profession, age, or frequency. For those who just feel like viewing, that’s fine too! We invite you to make meaningful connections with our artists while enjoying the creative time together. ◇◆ Our Experiment ◇◆ We are delving into what it means to express and exploring ways to create a place where everyone can come into their own.After the open mic performances, we will have time for improvisational performance. In addition to listening to each person's performance, we also want to create a space for people to improvise, create chemistry, and collaborate. ◇◆ yosemic’s Philosophy ◇◆ Our theme is that of making a place where anyone can express themselves in a creative and individual way.To the artists who are already active, aspiring creatives who are not yet out there, to students and those who have already joined the workforce alike, we welcome you to show a new side of yourself in the space that we have created.We are looking for performers to cast off their shells and take the mic!Please feel free to bring friends with you as well.
