Job Description Plant World, Inc., New Mexico's largest wholesale/retail nursery has job openings for energetic team members to puller orders, water plants, and unload deliveries. Experience in the wholesale nursery or garden center is preferred but not required, will train. Agriculture and horticulture knowledge a plus. These are physical, labor intensive positions that require working outside in heat and cold, standing, stooping, bending, with ability to lifting, push pull up to 50 lbs. Jobs include: ORDER PULLER; use an electric cart to gather plant material and assist loading customer vehicles. PLANT MAINTENANCE; watering, pruning, propagation. UNLOADING/MERCHANDISING: Unloading new product, tagging and placing product into stock. Forklift and pallet jack operation. Work is outdoors on our 18 acre nursery. You must be able to take direction, be on time and meet your work schedule to ensure our plants are property maintained. This position requires the ability to work 8 hours a day, standing and bending in a variety of outdoor weather conditions. and other duties needed within the nursery Responsibilities Pull material from the nursery stock to fill orders and assist putting product in customer vehicles Use proper watering methods based on product. Receive and check incoming deliveries. Retrieve orders according to quantity, size etc. ensuring accuracy Re-stock inventory manually or with warehouse equipment Adhere to health and safety policies and quality standards Skills Qualifications High School Diploma or GED preferred, but not required. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Ability to work outside and greenhouse in both summer and winter conditions. Work well with others, co-workers, and supervisors. Apply in person or on-line at
