Description
Our family needs to rehome our 9 week old puppy through no fault of his own. Our other dog has attacked him three times now, he’s had to get wounds closed by the vet, and we are afraid for his safety. We are keeping them apart but it’s not fair to either of them to keep them kenneled for a significant portion of the day, especially a puppy that needs love and attention and training.
Beau was very sick when he came to us. He had kennel cough and worms. He has had 3 vet visits this week alone. He is now parasite free (this can be confirmed by the vet) and his wounds from the attack are healing nicely. He is on antibiotics and those will need to be continued for a few days. He was too sick to vaccinate until just recently.
He is wonderful with children. He’s by my 4 year old’s aide all day. He’s playful and loves to chew on toys and bones.
He has been dewormed several times, has had a bordetella vaccine and needs just a few more vaccines. He has also just had his nails clipped.
I am askjng for a rehoming fee to recoup some of the emergency vet visit costs. In order to keep him safe I’m okay with eating the cost of his rehoming and supplies. I am scared he’ll get hurt again because my other dog now attacks him on sight and we can’t keep living like this. The first picture is of Beau after being attacked. The white stuff on his head is from when the vet had to close the injury.
He comes with a kennel, bed, full bag of food, treats, 3 flea and tick treatments, and his medicine for the bite/kennel cough.
