New Braunfels based landscaping company is seeking experienced, hard-working lawn maintenance and landscape workers. Daily responsibilities may include, but is not limited to, mowing, weed-eating/edging, using a leaf blower, pulling and spraying weeds, cleaning out beds, trimming hedges and trees, cleaning out areas and creating new mulch or rock beds, installing soil and sod, or other landscape related tasks. There is also an opportunity for the right person to learn irrigation, starting as an irrigation helper. Minimum Job Requirements: - Must have a positive attitude, willingness to work, willingness to learn and must be team-oriented. - Legally authorized to work in the US and can produce originals of the required documentation at your initial interview. No exceptions. - A minimum of one year, preferably three years, of recent experience in lawn maintenance, landscape experience. Please note that doing these things for family or friends, or as a side gig does not count as job experience. - High school diploma/GED and at least 18 years old. Drivers/leads must be at least 23 years old for insurance purposes. - Valid Driver's License with clean record is preferred for all positions and REQUIRED for lead positions. - Experience and ability to pull and back a trailer is REQUIRED for lead positions. - Must be physically able to work safely on ladders. - Must have reliable transportation to get to the shop on time every morning. - Willing and available to work occasional (paid) overtime, including early starts, occasional long days and weekends. Overtime is not the norm, but we do need someone willing and able to work if we need to catch up from rain or other delays. - Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds to waist level and perform all other physical requirements associated with a position of this nature.
