City Home is seeking an experienced general laborer/warehouse temp. Our Warehouse team is responsible for receiving inventory, moving and assembling furniture, packing items to be shipped, and many other tasks. Potential candidates should be self-motivated and organized. Responsibilities: - Unload trucks, Receive and assemble furniture shipments of inventory. -Quality Checking all incoming inventory and outgoing purchases. - Assist our sales team and floor merchandisers by moving furniture and hanging lighting as necessary. - Help customers safely load furniture into their vehicles. Required skills and experience: - Previous warehouse and/or shipping & receiving experience preferred. - Strong verbal and written communication skills. - Must be able to follow instructions, work independently, and in groups. - Must know how to safely lift and move delicate furniture. - Basic hand tool and power tool knowledge. - Ability to move and/or lift 75+ pounds. - Previous experience / knowledge operating equipment including a pallet-jack and dolly's.
