Description

Classically trained drummer in Bend with two years music theory and many years touring experience looking to do compelling funk/blues/rock/fusion dance music for big crowds; more lyrical music for small crowds. I also play various hand percussion. I have acoustic drums, a Roland drum module with 1,000 adjustable drum sounds, P.A., speakers, amps, mic's and I'm skilled with a Pioneer EFX 500 effector. Vocals yes; and I have a Digitech Vocal 300. I'm tight and can improvise in almost any meter, but my skills would best be utilized with another good drummer (who doesn't rush or drag; can play quietly and hide the 1), with me on my small SPD-20 (w/foot triggers), percussion and/or effects. We could switch off between drums & percussion or just rock out on dual drums. A world of possibilities opens up, not least of which is...More Cowbell! My ideal core is guitar, bass, keys, two drummers and tight harmonies. I have a dozen good originals. I want to get big crowds dancing; intimate crowds laughing or crying; to bring an audience either originals, obscure gems or heavily modernized covers a la Scary Pockets. . :-)
