Position: Maintenance Technician (Apartment Community) Location: Johnson County Pay: $17-18/hr plus monthly maintenance bonus Company Website: www.nolanred.com Requirements: Prior maintenance experience required, HVAC certification required. Multifamily experience is not required. The HVAC Maintenance Technician will be an integral part of the financial and operational performance of our multi-family community. Responsibilities include but not limited to: Our ideal candidate will posses a depth knowledge of maintenance procedures, hydraulic systems and basic tools and appliances. Responsible for for the upkeep of the property which includes plumbing, carpentry, electrical systems, painting. Inspect units and systems to identify any issues. Repair faulty equipment units and damaged appliances, and be able to make the necessary repairs. Implement preventive maintenance procedures. Manage heating and plumbing systems to guarantee functionality. Must be able to plan and schedule repairs in a timely manner. Must have the ability to be on call for weeks at a time. Must be able to maintain the upkeep of the shop. Candidate should possess EPA Certification. Duties include working on make ready units, inspecting units and property AC systems, maintaining inventory, performing repairs, maintaining compactor. Maximizing occupancy by ensuring quality completion of service requests and make readies. Controlling expenditures pertinent to their department. Maintaining aesthetic appearance of the community at all times. Managing resident/prospect relations effectively. Positively contributing to the asset’s online reputation and brand. Knowledge and ability to perform electrical, plumbing HVAC, appliance, drywall repairs/replacements. Utilizing preventative maintenance techniques to ensure the asset is performing at it’s peak. Maintaining of inventory of stock Maintain completion of daily service requests and monthly logs in a timely and organized manner. Participation in team building activities.
