Hayes, 1849 At Fierce Whiskers we’re a team of dedicated makers creating premium goods for our community, and we’ve set out to produce the best quality whiskey right in the heart of Austin, Texas. Our first bottled batch of premium whiskey will not be ready until 2023, but today we’re looking for an enthusiastic tour guide to help engage our community each weekend through our distillery tour program. About the Role Our tour program is actively growing and in order to meet that demand, we are adding to our team. As a cornerstone of our community growth, we are looking for the right person that is will engage guests one-on-one to build our “inconsiderable village” of whiskey enthusiasts. Our distillery is a show-stopper and we need a story teller that can wow both novices and connoisseurs alike. We’ll help you learn all about whiskey and the uncommon details we focus on to create our Texas Tight Cut whiskey. Currently offering tours on Saturdays, the role will expand immediately with the right candidate to include Friday late afternoon tours as well. As we continue to build audience and demand, we will continue to expand this position. In this role, you will: • Lead educational, fun, and accurate distillery tours • Provide exceptional customer service to all Fierce Whiskers visitors • Accurately describe our spirits in detail and make recommendations to our customers Applicants must: • Be TABC certified to serve alcohol • Be able to lift 20 lbs • Have an outgoing personality and an excitement to engage with all customers • Possess strong communication skills • Be a team player • Have the ability to handle multiple tasks at one time • Have a passion for whiskey and distilling About Us We’re Fierce Whiskers, and we make exceptional whiskey for our “inconsiderable village” deep in the heart of Austin, Texas.
