Peanut is a 10 year old female Beagle/bulldog mix. Peanut is housebroken, loves to snuggle in the bed or on the couch. Peanut is very protective of children and also seems to buddy up with males. Watch out - Peanut will help herself to dinner on the counter or leftovers in the trash if you aren’t looking. Needs to be the only dog in the home with no other dogs or cats. Her foster Mom forgot the family cat was in the bedroom with Peanut and when she checked on her to remove the cat, the family dog, Sammee, who is also not good with any other dogs, got into an altercation with Peanut resulting in the foster Mom being bitten when breaking the dogs up. She is on death row until Monday 01/26 at the local shelter. Spayed, Up to date on 04/14 with DHHLP, de-wormed, 1 Year rabies, heartworm test (negative), started on heartworm prevention. Her foster Mom purchased a new collar and pretty leash and some dog items for Peanut that will go with her. Please help us find a home for her. Peanut deserves a second chance.
