Cal Oaks Auto Repair is a family-owned and operated automotive repair shop in Murrieta, California, since 2011. We bring those family values to every customer interaction because our goal is to be the auto repair shop with integrity – the one customers can trust to take care of their cars and depend on for clarity and consistency whether they need a minor tune-up or a major repair. We are looking for a Lube Tech/Entry Level Automotive technician with at least 1 year experience. Pay is based on experience. Responsibilities •Performs basic automotive maintenance work such as battery installation, brake services, lube, oil, and filter changes, rotation of tires, flushing cooling systems and basic inspection light maintenance •Performs work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with dealership and factory standards. •Inspects vehicle fluid levels, replenishes as necessary. •Checks tire pressure and adds air if needed. •Communicates with service advisor immediately if additional work is needed, if work outlined is not needed, or if repairs cannot be completed within the promised time. •Documents all work performed and recommended on the repair order. •Ensures that customers' cars are kept clean. Notifies service advisor immediately of anything that has happened to change the appearance or condition of the vehicle. •Keeps shop area neat and clean. •Maintains and is accountable for all shop-owned tools and manuals. Returns them to the proper place and in the same condition as when they were received. •Operates all tools and equipment in a safe manner. •Reports any safety issues immediately to management. •Other tasks as assigned.
