Family Auto Service in La Jolla is looking for a General Manager. We are a bumper-to-bumper auto repair shop: We do everything from smog's to engines and transmissions, to regular maintenance to tires and everything else. We work on all makes and models. Our candidate should have experience managing Techs and Advisors. A track record of experience will be asked for. We are a well-established company. Do you have a smart phone? Must manage some company email correspondence Setting performance goals both individual and team, Etc. Our candidate should possess these skills: Friendly attitude- but knows when to be lovingly aggressive In depth knowledge of auto components Ability to sell Great eye for the details Very strong organizational skills Ability to win the respect of your team members so leading them successfully comes naturally Computer and Internet literate- not just All Data Type stuff Ethical Work Standards High energy and able to thrive in a fast paced environment A definite problem solver Superior customer service skills Able to control technicians work flow and schedule The ability to ask technicians the right questions when trying to determine if their diagnosis is correct A proven track record of managing a successful automotive operation with both high volume, high customer satisfaction, and multiple employees.
