Commercial Tile/Stone Mechanics, Helpers, and Project Managers Commercial tile and stone company seeks mechanics, helpers and a project manager. We are looking for people with at least 3 years’ experience in commercial construction with a focus on installation and maintenance of hard tile and natural stone products. All employees must be familiar with typical job site safety protocols and all typical PPE. We are looking for individuals who wish to grow within our company and widen their knowledge and abilities. Our company philosophy is to always promote from within and to grow our company from the bottom up. We expect our mechanics to be able to take the lead on projects assigned to them and install them from start to finish with minimal punch-list and repair work necessary. It is vital to the growth of our company that our quality of work remains top notch and are looking for mechanics that can follow through with assigned tasks and effectively communicate with our project management team. Mechanics must have: 3 years’ experience installing tile and stone Tools necessary for installation of tile and stone Vehicle Valid driver’s license Ability to read blueprints Ability to layout floors Communication skills Working cell phone Strong work ethic Self-starter mentality Team attitude We expect our helpers to have basic construction skills, the ability to learn, and potential for growth into mechanics one day. This is a learning process for helpers looking to take the next step in their careers. Helpers must have: 1 year experience in commercial construction Basic hand tools for tile and stone (tape measure, margin trowel, utility knife, etc.) Familiarity with installation process of tile and stone Ability to listen and learn from assigned mechanic Ability to take direction Communication skills Working cell phone Project manager must have: Minimum 5 years commercial construction experience Scheduling and management experience E-mail proficiency Effective communication skills Valid drivers license Ability to read blueprints Ability to layout floors Cost-benefit analysis skills Critical thinking skills We provide top-notch pay for top quality workers and will soon be working on benefits packages for our employees.
