Reliable helper needed for a small but very busy masonry company based in Dunellen, NJ. Typical work includes pavers, retaining walls, demolition, brick/block/stonework, small concrete jobs, steps, all types of masonry repairs and some carpentry, painting and landscaping.
Preferred candidates will have some expereience in masonry and/or construction but you will be working alongside and helping the mason/owner who is willing to teach. The job involves heavy lifting regularily, digging regularily and mixing cement and concrete regularliy. Masks will be worn indoors and in vehicles and will be provided.
You must have your own transportation OR be able to get to Plainfield/Dunellen area by 7 am. The jobs are throughout North and Central Jersey. At least some English is needed. Typical schedule is Tuesday-Saturday, 8am-5pm on the jobsite, with some Mondays and Sundays.
