Description

Assembles, repairs, and installs electric and manual tarp systems and liners on dump body systems by performing the following duties. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Cleans and organizes personal tool box, work area and tools/equipment being used on each job. Assembles, replaces, or repairs systems related to dump body systems including but not limited to agricultural equipment, construction equipment and refuse. Checks and repairs electric and manual tarp systems. Mends damaged body and fenders by hammering out or filling in dents and welding broken parts. Removes any defective parts and replaces them with refurbished, rebuilt or new parts. Operates vehicles as needed. Plans work procedure. Disassembles unit and inspects parts for wear. Repairs or replaces parts such as tarp arms, electric motors, brackets, flex bows and poles.
