Black Cat Murphy wants you! -------------------------------------- BCM is a fierce, high energy Classic Rock, Southern Rock and Modern Rock band based out of the Gloucester/Mathews area. We are seeking a Singer/Guitarist to replace our founding member that needed to step aside (No animosity). Age range is late 30s to 50s but don't let that fool you. When the plague ends we want to be ready to strike the Hammer of the Gods. ------- What we have, who we are and what we're looking for… ------- • Paid gigs (waiting in the wings). • Large rehearsal space with P.A. in between Gloucester & Mathews. • Pro gear, pro attitude but still party dudes! • Several professional lighting and sound companies on board we've used in the past. • Friendly, fun loving and even family atmosphere. No drama!! • Professional graphic design. ------- • Firestorm of a drummer (harmony/lead singer)-Veteran of many high profile Eastern Virginia bands. • Tasteful and highly skilled lead guitarist. Also a local veteran with a broad palette of styles at his finger tips. • Bassist/Singer - Transplant from Austin, TX music scene. Former touring bass player for solo projects of Johnny Solinger, former SKID ROW lead singer (replaced Sebastian Bach) as well as many of Austin's notable musicians. ------- • Excellent lead and rhythm guitarist with pro gear and attitude that sings really well within a high baritone/low tenor range. (Bassist sings low and raspy). • Willing to gig at least twice a month and maybe more in the future. Also twice a month or more rehearsal having done your homework. • Positive person. Check politics and personal drama at the door. Drink and some members smoke but if you have a hard drug issue we're not equipped to deal with it. ------- We like to play loud but this is not a Heavy Metal band (Willing to do some old school Metal). Willing to alter the sound if what you bring to the table kicks ass. Willing to do original music. Seriously professional on stage but sometimes it's just set up by the pool, bring some food and beer and have a chilled party jam with friends and family.
