Nothing improves your bike's performance or builds rider confidence like good solid brakes. In this class, you'll learn how to detect and replace worn components, adjust your brakes so they perform to their optimal potential, and how to maintain your braking system to ensure longevity. We'll also talk about various kinds of brakes including rim and disc brakes. Students are encouraged to bring their bikes to class but if you'd prefer to practice on a shop bike, we'll be more than happy to provide one at no additional cost. There is a suggested donation of $25 for each class unless you're a volunteer or new member. Volunteers are encouraged to take the class for free.
