General Laborer / Field Technician Needed ASAP! Pay Rate: $16-$18 MUST HAVES: - Material handling, warehouse, general labor, or environmental field experience - Ability to lift 50+lbs and remain physically active for the duration of the day (long periods of time on their feet) NICE TO HAVES: - Familiarity and understanding of working with hazardous chemicals This candidate will be working as an Environmental Technician/Field Tech/Material Handler. They will be working full time assisting with material handling, offloading trucks, stocking materials and 50 gallon drums of waste and ensuring health & safety guidelines are followed in accordance with OSHA standards, etc. Essentially this person is handling barrels that have chemicals in them and insuring that they are labeled and processed correctly, much like a environmental health & safety lab pack person but in a warehouse and on a larger scale. This person does not have to have direct experience doing this. They would consider someone who has done any field work, hazardous waste, or other similar positions. CERTS: - OSHA 40, client will pay you to obtain it if you do o currently have it. Additional Skills & Qualifications - Proven experience working in a physically demanding, labor intensive environment - References that speak to their reliability and attention to detail Work Environment Schedule is 8am to 4pm depending on the trucks for that day. Will be working outdoors and indoors following specific Health & Safety and environmental protocol to clean drums, refill, repackage and ultimately load onto trucks.
