Talk exploring the history of Tidal Mills and Water Power in Boston To fuel mills for producing flour, fabric, lumber and even chocolate, innovators in colonial Boston turned to the power of the tides. This talk by The West End Museum's President, Duane Lucia, will discusses Boston's first industrialized  power source - Tidal Mills. The talk will also examine early efforts to dam part of the Charles River.
