Donate • Drink • Make a Difference Join Period Kits, Soles4Souls and Women in Sustainability on May 23 for Strings Attached: An Eco Swap at Factotum Brewhouse from 12:00pm - 2:00pm. It’s time to swap out the eco-bad for the reusable pad as we kick off Period Poverty Awareness Week! For every box of tampon donation, attendees will receive one pack of WeWarriors reusable pads. Plus, the first 20 ticketed attendees, will also receive a June Cup, reusable menstrual cup. All donated tampons help to support those experiencing poverty as no one should have to choose between food and tampons. Once you swap, stay for the fun to help support these organizations by grabbing a beer, listening to music, and networking on a beautiful May day either indoors or on Factotum’s beautiful patio. Plus, we’ll have an auction, giveaways and more throughout the day! All City/State COVID guidelines will be enforced including social distance, mask policies and sanitizing measures. Before you head down, take a look in your closet for those gently worn shoes still hanging out in the back. Soles4Souls will be onsite collecting gently used shoes to help provide relief, create jobs and empower people to break the cycle of poverty. Tickets are only $20 which includes 1 free beverage (alcohol or non-alcohol). All proceeds will support Period Kits, Soles4Souls and Women in Sustainability, Colorado nonprofit organizations. This will be a private event so only RSVP attendees will be able to join to help with social distance policies. Tickets will be limited based on City/State restrictions. Not ready to be in person yet? No problem! You can still swap during our Eco-Swap Drive Up from 12:00pm - 12:30pm. Just swing by Factotum Brewhouse and there will be a table out front to make your donation and pick up your reusable pads. So it’s time to get rid of the trash and join us for this eco-bash on May 23! You can make a difference!
