Doral Company, manufacturing a range of eclectic items for the needs of a discerning market, requires the immediate services of an Order Picker. Ideal candidate will be organized, dedicated, focused, accurate with good hand-eye coordination, keen attention to detail and an eye for things of beauty. Must also be careful, with a steady hand, energetic, a fast learner and swift mover in order to accurately pick items, according to tickets, affix labels, group items and hand-off for shipping. Salary begins in the $15.50/hr range Job tasks include: • Cleaning glasses holding newly-made candles, to remove any candle-wax residue • Use information from order tickets to identify items required to fill individual orders . Quickly pick required items from among several others • Quickly and carefully place labels, which are attached to tickets, onto chosen candles/other items • Ensure labels are on, correctly - correct label carefully placed in specified place on correct item • Group labelled items/candles together, according to information on tickets . Pass correctly labelled candles & other items off for packing and shipping to customer • Ensure work-area is kept clean and tidy . Assisting in the warehouse, when required Requirements: • High School Diploma • Ability to work quickly, accurately and carefully, with a steady hand . Ability to move quickly, around the warehouse • Ability to handle delicate materials and processes • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, at times • Ability to stand for long periods of time . Ability to communicate in English, a must • Bi-lingual, English/Spanish, a plus
