l Spotlight Gala "Traditions!" Spotlight 2021 features performance by the youth chorus and soloists with music from Sound of Music, etc. Spotlight (originally called Starcase) began in 1998 to raise funds for Chorus Abilene's first international youth tour. It quickly became a favorite of the singers and audiences alike. Presented annually - though not in 2020, unsurprisingly - Spotlight still helps to raise money for young singers to travel abroad, as well as contributing to the youth scholarship funds and regular programs of Chorus Abilene.
