Dapper Dan the Man is THE sweetest dog. He does not know a stranger and loves other dogs. He will be 6 years old in June and grew up with my dad in north Texas. He can no longer take him hunting and has been an outside dog all his life. We thought he might have a better time here where he can make friends at the dog park. However, because we have cats (and Dan does not get along with cats or other small furry animals) we can't bring him inside and give him the love he deserves. He stays outside during the day and in our garage at night. He has never had an accident and we think he would make a great inside dog. We will only consider someone who has another playful dog that Dan can be friends with. Ideally, we would love someone with other hounds who would give Dan the opportunity to get out in the woods and do what he was born to do. Dan is a full blood blue-tick hound with papers. He comes from a well known blood line and there will be a rehoming fee of $300. Please do not contact us if you intend to use Dan for breeding purposes.
