Help get rid of micro-plastics and other trash along the ocean beach in Asbury Park, NJ Volunteers Needed! Join Save Coastal Wildlife & The Plastic Wave Project & Asbury Park Environmental Shade Tree Commission as we try to rid the ocean beach in Asbury Park, NJ of Micro-plastics and other trash on Saturday, May 8th, from 9:00am to 11:00am. Please bring gloves and a small container to pick up the micro-plastics. Members of The Plastic Wave Project will demonstrate how to look for microplastics and what they look like and why they are dangerous to the environment.
