Description
If you are a healthy adult (not taking aspirin) between 18-40 years old, you may be eligible to participate in a research study investigating the effect of genes on how our platelets work. We are interested in studying how and why our platelets respond differently to Aspirin and placebo. In this clinical trial, you will be asked to take Aspirin or placebo for two weeks and have blood drawn before and after. The study requires two to three 45 minute study visits. Compensation up to $50 and validation of parking expenses for study visits will be provided. For more information, please call the Brigham & Women's Hospital Department of Preventive Medicine at (617)-278-0938.
