An all women licence to carry & gun safety course instructed by Texas Gun Academy Class instructed by Texas Gun Academy License to Carry Course • Open carry law • Concealed carry law • Where you can and can’t carry • Non-confrontation strategies After successful completion of the lecture portion and a passing grade on the multiple choice exam, you will travel to the gun range where your qualification will take place.  There Trenton will prep students on range safety rules.   Each student will enter the lane to qualify by completing the below course of fire:  Twenty (20) shots will be fired from 3 yards Twenty (20) shots will be fired from 7 yards Ten (10) shots fired from 15 yards You must obtain a score of 175 or higher to pass   **handgun rental, ammo and target are included in the class fee** Please bring to class: Your state I.D., Driver's License, or US Passport, black pen & paper for notes case. If you would like to use your own firearm to qualify you can (this will NOT change the price)   If possible, leave your handgun in your vehicle until the instructor instructs you to bring the handgun to the shooting range. If you cannot leave your handgun in your vehicle, bring your unloaded handgun unloaded magazine and your ammo (in a bag or case) to the classroom.  The Instructor will store your handgun. The instructor will give you your handgun and ammo when it is time for you to qualify. Only standard handgun calibers can be shot at the range.  Note: If you bring your own handgun, you will need to supply your own ammunition.
